Fisrtly, breakdown people are notorius for saying anything and everything when they dont know what the problem is.

Does it sound like its turning over nicely. The starter motors on these arent the best but u can hear when theyre going. If it was fast enough before it should be fine now.

What cam does the head have in it?

Have you checked its timed up properly?
