If you turned the nut the thread turns with it. You could NOT get mole grips over the top of it, there isnt enough thread to put them on.

The obvious way to ME too was to drop it to the ground and tighten it, but that STILL wouldnt hold the thread in place, its STILL a stupid way for something to be fitted IMO.

So as any sane person would think, that cant be the right way and there must be a proper way to do it. SO I ASKED.
