Absolutely no point in a 2.2!

Bore walls are too thin to get it from just an overbore, 2.1 is getting a little close for me personally! And thats not true 2.1, its actually 2045cc.

So to achieve 2.2 you'd be looking at stroking it, which will cost a lot for a crank and rods to suit (Four figure number). As a result though, you'd have kept the sameish bore, and a longer stroke, making the already undersquare zetec, even more undersquare....fantastic!

Yes you'd have more torque, great if you own a jeep , not so great for a FWD rs turbo.

Look at what power actually is, and how it is made, then build your engine....

If you want capacity and torque, get a 2.5 V6 Duratec bolted in
