I didn't know you had Steel Rods. IMO you would be more likely to bend the Crank than bend one of those Rods.
As others have said, do a Compression Test before making any further judements.
Ok ill give that a try and see how i get on,but do you think the crank
would be more likely to be bent or a valve?
