MARANELLO, Italy — Ferrari and Pininfarina have announced four winners of a design competition that drew 20 finalists from 13 countries. The winning models, all done in 1-to-4 scale, are Millechili, from Istituto Europeo di Design, Turin; Fiorano, from Coventry University's School of Art & Design; Tre Diviso, from Tokyo Communication Arts; and Ascari, also from Istituto Europeo di Design.
The winning students will have the opportunity to work at the concept design departments of Ferrari or Pininfarina. As a measure of how seriously both companies took this competition, the jury included such corporate luminaries as Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo, Vice President Piero Ferrari and racing boss Jean Todt, as well as Sergio Pininfarina, Andrea Pininfarina and Ken Okuyama.
