Default More Ebay Scammers......

We have recently sold an item on Ebay and have found that the non-winning bidders are getting contacted by other people claiming to be the person that started the Auction, offering them a 'Second Chance'.

When the email comes, it looks exactly like an Ebay email, it even has the 'Respond Now' button. They claim that the original sale couldn't be completed and now the item is available again. If you want to purchase it, they tell you NOT to use the Respond Now button, but to email direct and they will send you an 'Ebay' invoice.

One of our non-winning bidders has been contacted by 2 separate people, one from USA and one from Canada both claiming to be the person that started the original auction!!

Bastards.

I have mailed all the non-winning Bidders and warned them in the hope that I can prevent someone from getting ripped off, but its hard to keep up with.
