I agree ... I had a Packard Bell it was rubbish. I'm sure it was powered by hamster and an old one at that.

Got a Dell now and had no trouble ordering it. Plus it works great. But I have been told Dell are hard to upgrade (not sure why - I've had no problems).

You could try a Compaq ... they sell em at Dixons/PC World.

Or (would you believe) Woolworths are selling cheapo Medion computers at mo by case load! Well they are in Derby. Dead cheap too ... not saying they will be great but my Medion DVD is a wonderful machine
