Have managed to do one of them, done it by gradually cutting with a junior hacksaw carefully along the top of the weld. Cutting just deep enough so as to separate the cup from the strut and knocking it off with a hammer. I now have the original weld still there and a nice solid base for the coilover kit to sit on. Will get some pics up when there finished
