ah right i thought that was what you were going to say.
Its got a DIS system then, the coil pack is a just two coils, each pack runs two plugs and it uses wasted spark.
Its the same as a normal coil, it shares the 12v feed, and has two negatives on it, so on the wiring plug there will be 1 black wire in the middle, and the outer two will be green. The rev counter will be connected to one of the two green wires, do a continuty check to see if u get a reading off either of them, remove the plug off the coil pack however, and unplug the clocks.
Have you checked to see if the rev counter itself has 12v's on its connection pins?
If your not sure which ones it will be, trace the lines on the PCB back to the wiring multi plug, identify which one goes to a green wire, and check for 12v across the other two pins
