I have just been offered a MK4 XR3i. Now, its a low miler (appx 60k) with all old MOTs, family owned.

The young lad bought it off his dad, took it to my mates bodyshop and it had a full bareshell paint. he put a proper 90spec kit on as the fibre glass job was a little bit out. Its been chipped, cammed, pipe, filter etc etc so aint a slug. It also has a leather recaro retrim in it

He has been dry-storing it for like 2 years and has hardly driven it since the paint.


He HAS to sell it and has offered it me for £800............... do I buy it??
