Spiky i am a fully trained Chamois manager Leave it wet at all times , not soaking but damp, if you buy a decent one it should come in a plastic tube, NEVER wash it in the machine as the soap will take FOREVER to come out, the easyiest way is to roll it out or put it in a vice (sad i know) thats if you put it in the washing machine,

Thank You, and who said they might smell if they are damp.........Who gives a fuck , its to dry ya car not make the paint smell nicer
