The ZVH is wrong in alot of respects. The stroke is too long, the rod stroke ratio is wrong. It depends on what you want. They can make a good road engine, with less lag, but if it's ultimate peformane u are after, the 1600 wins by a mile.

My 1600 is so smooth to drive, its suited perfectly to the car. There is little point in having all ur toruqe at 3000rpm as it becomes a wheelspinning mess. On the 1600's it comes in more gradually, and u can rev it to well over 7k. Other problems with the zvh is sourcing pistons and rods for a big power one. If you really want out right peformance, u destroke the CVH to under 1500cc!
