no lights wer used, the flat is top floor so plenty off light on the roof and we had pretty good weather over the summer so they grew well, also inside the flat its like tropical enviroment!! I aint a budding gardener it was alll done natrually no lights, miricle grow or neother weirdways we were told!! They got eaten out of stupidity
