Attn: Mr Rainbird, Adam other peeps that have a cossie brake set-up.
Ok guys, those of you that know what i am upto will know that i "WAS" in the process of fitting Sierra Cosworth 4pot callipers to my mk3 Escort Cabriolet. I drilled out the mounting holes on the hub and bolted them up with M12 bolts.
And fitted like this
I had the callipers temporally mounted in place and thought before it all went spirilling out of control i'd fit one of my rims i'm going to be using - a S1 15" 7 spoke Rs wheel.
I bolted it up and yep just as i thought it fouls the calliper quite badly, if the disc were on to it clear that no problemo its just that its fouling the rear of the wheel
So was i wrong to even start this fitting of cossie brakes, i've seen so many conflicting stories on here and crossed advice

It seems the depth of the wheel isn't big enough to clear the calliper, which is a real shame - cos i fooking like these!
Is there anything i can do to remedy this or is it a fact of it they just aint going to fit?

I was under the immpression that the cossie came with these behind 15" rims as standard???

But i have a feeling the cossie sat on deeper rims than what i have and thats how it cleared the callipers.
Looks like i'm going to have a set of

callipers on ebay soon..............
Advice please lads and lasses,
