Can be a number of things.

Sometimes smoke is just water being evaporated out the exhaust and its more noticable on a cold day.

Could be worn piston rings or valve stems too, even an old turbo will leak oil when cold then as all these parts warm up they expand and seal properly and dont smoke anymore.
