Did this in the early 80's

Total cost of land & build was £24700 ( 4 bed detached ) sold it 3 months after completion for £54999. Financially very good but money aint everything. It took me best part of three years & my kids were under 5 & i was never around. Asked now, NO! it wasnt worth it, cant bring back the times i missed with my kids.
