Neil, ST170 Lump might be a bit too expensive to lay out on plus the cost of TBs and possibly paying for the swap to be done.

I may have a DIY attempt at it over a weekend if I feel confident enough but at this point I dunno, not done it before.

As it stands now, I want a new gearbox and as a precaution I will change the clutch but I don't know which parts I'll need. If I go Zetec then I'll try and get a Mondeo mtx75 box. As for clutch, no idea about that.

Don't know what will be the most cost effective route. What would be the main difference in performance between a 190bhp turbo cvh and a 2.0ltr Zetec with 165bhp n/a?
