Default RS dump valve/driver seat and so on . . .

Hi all,

Complete Noobie to the RS scene here . . . First off, I love my car to bits (#357) having drooled over Escort RS Turbos as a teenager I've finally got the equivalent - wow! But a couple of questions, mine is about to drop out of manufacturers warranty and has the dreaded sagging drivers seat. Please could you post me a good quality picture of the revised stitching on the seat squab so I can show my local upholsterer?

And further still, I like the idea of Bailey's (sic) latest double-trumpet dump valve, but what benefit would this give my (at the moment) standard RS lump? I thought the idea was to keep the energy within the engine, rather than blow it off through a dump valve?

And does anyone know of an RS specialist in the North-East?
