I almost paid £5k to train at the Building Trade Skills Centre, but they wanted the money up-front and when I went for my induction I realised I'd been mis-lead so I pulled out before I made a big and expensive mistake!

The colleges round my way won't let you sign unless you are already working for a company (they have no contacts that they could offer me for this), and as I mentioned above no-one I contacted wanted me anyway, perhaps I should take the hint
