With actuator pipe disconnected it boosts right off the gauge btw.
Wouldn't suggest doing that again mate as you've got nothing to open the wastgate properly, the boost may well vercome the spring pressure but by then it may be too late!!!
What do you mean by not enough boost? what your spec etc?
by elektron valve, do you mean amal valve?
