I haven't actually ever overclocked a CPU, but to be honest, the advancements you'd get doing on a 333mhz is gonna be minimal at best!

If you can find out what socket your motherboard has, you might be able to source a P3 chip for it? I have a P3 (650mhz) mobo here and I was gona build it up and over clock it to 1000mhz, but got pissed off buying shonky used PC bits and bought a non-shonky used PC instead Still for £200 I got a nice Dell with a 2800mhz Pentium 4 CPU, 1.5gb ram and a biggish HDD
No mate, your confused..I'm not talking about my cpu, i'm talking about the speed of my ram I run an AMD Sempron 2.4Ghz chip...does the job nicely...

I was un aware you could do anything with the ram chips but I told the bloke in the shop the old chip was running at 333 and the new memory was a ddr 400 chip...Said it'd not be a prob and he could clock it anyway if not. Well on inspecting my existing chip it is a ddr400 also, just running at 333...Anyway like I said never worried about ram before so just wanted someone who has some greater knowledge on the subject to offer thier advice
