the crank by the mark slighltly to the left of the center of the engine
(100% sure thats all correct cause normally if it wrong pistons will hit the valves i thought)
on the crank pulley HAVE you USED the "V" mark then or the lug just past it AS THAT'S WHAT YOU USE ON A COSSIE
also if timed up wrong NOT always do they hit the valves ENOUGH to stop the engine running m8
