I used to be manager at one of the smaller stores a few years ago - wouldn't go back to Halfords if they offered triple the salary!!! Dunno if it's changed but the company doens't give two shits about it's customers OR it's staff - especially the staff! I am STILL owed money from them that I did in over time - like best part of 3 months on the trot without a single day off!!!! And the wage I was given was atrocious! I went in on a trainee manager wage, then halfway thru my training the manager I was gonna be replacing upped and left So I was flung in at the deep end, had to run the place by myself Kept on about a pay rise considering I was now running the place- never got it tho

And PMSL @ Ripspeed - Halfords Ripspeed isn't even HALF of what original Ripspeed was and it NEVER will be. I used to love speaking to the Ripspeed employee's when I used to visit or sub in different - they really did think they were the shit, cos they worked for "Ripspeed" I used to have to leave the room sometimes as otherwise I would just laugh at em - some of the things they came out with All I could think of was "no, a Turbo-Zet will NOT give your 1litre Nova enough power to shut down your "mates" Fiesta RS Turbo (why do they always have a mate with an FRST or Cossy or something?)

Fuck Halfords and fuck Ripspeed Only decent part of my job was the tasty as fook lass I used to have on weekends in my store
