ok gang I'm looking to start my new engine hopefully in the next few weeks so wanted some advise

The Bottom end is brand new and has not been turned for a few months since it was put in the car, I did pour oil into it just after fitting just in case.

Is there anything I should be weary of when turning her over??

Also what type of oil should I use for the first start up/running in period, any ideas??

Would be grateful for any input at this moment in time as I'm running around getting all the last bits & pieces.
