mate just connect the red wire of the LED to the permenant live on the ignition switch, pretty sure it will be red, and the black wire of the LED to any chassis/bodywork point.

To check if the red is the permentant feed connect the black LED wire first, and touch the red LED wire onto the one on the igniton switch without the keys in the ignition.
