Combi_Chris....

I know it sounds a lot, but it's not crazy.

1 grand is for the full engine management conversion

Also remember, that is including supply, fitting, new full custom loom, a full maping session on the dyno, and out on the road

Can you show me something cheaper that includes all of the above??

I.e full 3d fuelling and ignition. Just the same as pectel/dta/cossie/motec/emerald and so on.

But, you can use the Gotech MFI just to control a fith injector if you needed. This would be far cheaper than the £700 quoted for MF2 system.

And, if the owner wanted to upgrade to full management, it would be VERY cheap and easy to do so.

I am led to believe that the parts alone, for a Cossie management conversion, are around £700

This is mostly second hand, with looms being the best part of 15 years old! Then there's fitting, mapping, and so on.

Do you get a warantee on the ecu & loom as part of the deal??

There are plenty of Cossie manegment conversions out there, that have cost MUCH more than a grand

I'm not knocking the cossie stuff, it's been proven to get results.

I just see it as old technology, thats difficult to convert, with many parts needed to add to an RSturbo e.g modified dizzy, pulley wheel for phase sensor, map sensor, tps switch and so on.

For a bit more than the sum of parts needed, you can have a fully fitted/mapped/ drive away full engine management system. Thats brand new, has a new loom, sensors, ect.

Plus you get data logging/launch control/nitrous control/water injection control/fuel pump control/VVT/the ability to run eight injectors - 4 inner & 4 outer switchable. And much more
