Hi all

I recently bought and fitted an after market lambda sensor and air:fuel ratio meter. Whilst it generally gives a usefull amount of information, when the car is under sustained pressure (ie round a track), the gauge becomes useless. The gauge quickly reads very very lean, then goes off the scale completely, and wont come back until the sensor has cooled down!

I spoke to the guy who sold me the stuff who stated that this was to be expected under heavy load.

Has anybody else had this problem at all? Help!
