i have 3 wires

one fits the oil pressure switch and 2 fit the ignition switch signal on the starter

neither fit the the large terminal on the starter

one of the 2 larger connectors has a red boot one a black i assume the red one was live so i opened it up a bit and it fits

when i crank it it tries to crank but dies

if i wire large terminal to battery and put the black terminal on igniton switch it tries to crank on position 2 of key

if i put red booted connector on ignition connector it clicks at position 2 and cranks at 3 it started twice for about 10 seconds then cut out

the starter seems to engage at position 2 and then turn at 3

im sure shouldnt be like this
