The difference must be in your head. I felt nothing when I compared with and without a twin piston dv on the same testing session. There is no airleak when the throttle is open. The pressure that builds up when closing the throttle will slam the sensor plate shut when running high boost. And we all know this metering head is sensetive and is the mother of most of RS Turbo running problems.
Nothing in my head at all mate. The problem is'nt when the throttle is open but when it's closed and the DV is open (air leak) the excess boost in the system exits via the DV which causes the pressure plate to close and it is this that causes the car to stall at lights and run rough. If you really want to beleive they are great and there is no problem then go ahead from a lot of experience with them I know different.
