I would say that most people waiting for a long time are probably will be going to the county court or thhe high court so if high court, probably mid 5 figures.

From an insurance point of view, I think it is a case of guilty until proven innocent.
Having said that, I had some mooron run into the back of me in a road rage incident which was cleared up within a month as I only claimed for the rear bumper which was 180quid from Ford. He didnt have a leg to stand on as he was enraged by his stupidity so all was sorted very quickly.
