The only downside is the fact it can't be longstudded which was never an issue for me as I don't like longstudding.
An alloy head needs room to expand.

Basically it's a vast improvement on the 205 block and swings and roundabout compared to the 200 block.

I went that route following advice from my engine builder and wouldn't hesitate to use 202 blocks in any power build
