Usually if you leave that disconnected it will run extremely rich and over fuel. Disconnecting the coolant temp sensor tells the ECU the temperature is -40 degrees and it dumps loads of fuel into account for it. It should black smoke like fook it has that much extra fuel.
It's under neath the manifold. Easier to see from under neath.
