Default Engine keeps running with key removed... (fuses n stuff)

...When fuse 22 (Control Circuits) is fitted withb a 5amp fuse!

wierd!!

its supposed to be a 4amp... mine had blown (which knocked out a few things, HFS, dashboard, intermittent wiper) so replaced with a 5amp...

then the engine wouldnt stop running! (after 30secs the imobiliser armed and it died) if you started to do something that drained power (ie turn on the lights) it's also die.

fitted with 2amp fuse... everything works fine...
fitted with 3amp fuse... everything works fine...
not tried a 4amp yet, need to goto halfords later and get one

anyone got any ideas? how can having a 5amp fuse in a 4amp slot make the engine keep running? how can a fuse do that?
