I work for a nitrous supplier and from only a bit of experience on my own car these things can and do happen.

exactly what caused it is anyones guess, I'm sure Scotty will have maybe noticed it miss or do something prior to the manifold ending up like that, could of been plenty of things but would say the nitrous didn't help matters.

however you cant deny thats some serious times he has laid down and it wont be long till its running 9's for sure,
