Default HELP! UPDATE: FUEL THERE, STILL NO GO!

Okay, was driving today, coming back from town, was coming along in 3rd gear with a bit of boost, about 10psi, no more, and the dump valve makes this almighty dump, that didn't sound right, and just complete loss of power.

After this, is was making this sound as if it dropped a valve, and was just wanting to cut out, along with a screaming noise from turbo, but no smoke from it.
It stalled but i had enough momentum to get in 2nd and bump start, after which i managed to crawl to a bus stop, and make a call to get towed.

While getting towed, i bump started it again, this time it started but i had no pedal control, sounded normal, no scream from turbo either!
i let it come back down to idle which it then just cut out.
Bumped it again while under tow, and this time i had throttle control, but it would only go up to 4k rpm, and sound as though misfiring (but no popping out of exhaust), again i let it come back down to idle for it to cut out.

Back on my drive, tried to get it to turn over, wont. i have checked fuel lines, all is well up until the metering head, checked the line into it, fine, fuel there, however, there is no fuel coming out of the injector lines, i would assume when you go to turn car over, fuel pump primes, fuel should come through those and go to injectors?!

What solutions, if any, can anyone offer?
I have been on ebay and bid on a metering head.

My dad said that the screaming noise i head is that of neat air going through the turbo, is this right? the shaft now has a tiny bit of play in it, but not masses (more or less 1mm of play).

Any ideas?

thanks!
