I have 3 V6 mondeo's!
great cars but millsyscossie has covered the problems, the mk1 cars use vacuum operated secondaried which are fair more robust than the mk2 versions.

I use a V6 ghia X as a daily runabout rate it very highly.
make sure you change the water pump as the first job tho!!
