Burgerman is a legend, very knowledgeable bloke.
The kits you make if you follow his instructions will work, but the solenoids are of a lower quality than the sort that i use, they just arent designed for how they are used, and you cant get them to open and shut at the correct rate, but they will work for small increases.
his kits are actually superior to the commerical stuff from the american companies in some ways which is ironic

Basically its an attempt at a copy of a kit based around the same fundamental principles of a wizards of nos kit, metered at the solenoid etc.
Those other kits, i wouldnt go anywhere near, you are paying 2/3 of the cost of actually getting a proper wizards of nos kit and you end up with a solenoid like this:
If you think for a moment that is a purpose designed solenoid with an opeation time matched to their fuel solenoid i suspect you are going to be pretty dissapointed!
Id hazard a guess it uses a lovely PTFE seal in it too that gets gunked up and jams open, like most of the american crap punted onto the market over the years has done.
The only reliable solenoids im aware of on the market that function exactly as they should in terms of speeds, and that carry on working no matter how long you pulse them for are these:
I personally would only ever do nitrous one of two ways:
DIY burgerman style kit on some old banger i didnt care about
Wizards of nos kit on anything that i wanted to keep in one piece
