just want to know roughiy how many time do you have to skim a head before it starts messing up your compression in a big way?

i've got a 2.1 zvh turbo cabby and it was pinking all over the place. its set up really good apart from the distributor is on full retard to stop it pinking.

its running 8psi at the mo., i tested out the compression and found that it was 170-175 per chamber, and heard that it should be roughly 140-145 per chamber for a turbo car. had the pistons skimmed right, so all i can think of is that this head had been skimmed too much, maybe head gasket problem or something

i know that its had a new cam.,, whats your thoughts.
