I took this to mean you thought he was "Running in" his engine.
To elaborate slightly on my first reply...
Just run whatever oil you always run on your tuners advice, but make sure its clean, if its not, renew it. As well as your regular oil, also smear the new parts in camlube or camcote. Most importantly, dont let teh revs drop below 2500rpm if possible for the first 20mins of teh cams life
