a 205 block is stronger and heavier than a normal pinto block, has thicker bores and is thicker around the main caps in the block.

the standard grading of a block is irrelavent if the block has been bored or is to be bored out. A YB block is a selected 205 block, these are spotted by the Yb part number being on the front face of the block above the water pump.
