Seen quite a few posts recently so hopefully someone can advise...

I've got tom tom 3 on my PDA - but my maps quite alot out of date.
missing lots of newer roads (m6 toll etc)
are there any updated versions you can get?

I do a regular cross country 100 mile trip and have my preferred route not what the tom tom suggestes - I put in via points but its a pain.

are there any other satnav programmes that are better than tom tom?
Like that lets you set preferred routes etc?
