My bro has asked the question for me - Its my iPod we're trying to fit.

A friend of mine had his ipod connected to the back of his stereo using an RCA to ipod connector (the connector at the bottom of the ipod). He bought it from Maplin for £5. Only down side is it doesn't charge the ipod, but for £5, you cant expect miracles. Music quality is spot on.

I am now trying the same thing but have used an RCA to headphone socket and plugged it into the headphone slot on the ipod - This should work using the auxilary mode on my Alpine.

When I put the Alpine to Aux mode, you can really faintly hear the music when turned to full volume. I have seen this work so think it must be a configaration problem with the Aux input. Any ideas???

Trying to save splashing out the £60 for the module and didn't want to use the FM iTrip, as have had problems in the past.

Cheers so far though guys!!!
