@ chip I was thinking the same thing, but the 48 has also got the possibility to map it yourself, or am I wrong??
@ Sketch your engine bay looks like its the same setup I'm looking for, could you tell me your specs and what output you managed to get from it? Is it possible to turn the launch control off with a switch or do you have to map it again?
As for having money, I'm still @ school so I don't have very much money, but in the coming 3 years I hope I can finance the whole project, it will be coming in an RST, not in the Orion in my sig
just random @ everybody
Here the features the p8pro has, and de 48 hasn't.
Lambda : 0 - 5 Volt (Wide band, shared Ana 3)
Cam : Single tooth wheel by Hall or VR
3 Spare analogue : Any 0 -5 Volt signal
ALS switch : Shared Lambda switch / Switch
Lambda switch
Traction on
Wet / dry
My technical english is not in such a good shape so I was wondering of a few things what it means and where they are used for.
The lambda, both system have one sensor, but the p8 has two, why two?
The thing with the Cam, what kind of sensor is that?
3 spare analogue, what's meant by that?
The crank sensor can be Hall or VR, what's VR?
Those 4 things aren't exactly clear to me.
So far for the inputs of the two systems, but the output isn't clear to me either.
On the DTA site it says the 48 has got 2 injector outputs, but how will it give signals to 4 injectors? If you look at it Binary you've got 4 different combinations, but that would mean you can't manage an engine with more than 4 cilinders
Lots of question for me here as I don't know a lot about managing an engine, a carburator is far more easy
Hopefully you guys can give me some answers so that I know how the system works
