I have a big folder full of reciepts, however some date back to after car was approx 5 years old and have faded. On some of them you can just make out what it is for.
It has only eva been welded once which is on the drivers side footwell. Only a small patch! The car also comes with 10 months m.o.t. and 4 months tax!
When i bought the car I was told it had a new gearbox and head, however I do not have a receipt to prove this.
The bottom end was rebuilt with all brand new parts approx 2500 miles ago and DO HOLD a valid receipt for that aswell as fitting!
The s1 is the custom design which includes pop-out windows, sunroof, etc
It has been resprayed when it was restored in 1998 with original diamond white with new ford decals to go back on body. All the original stickers are located precisely. This also included some new panels which are also ALL listed on the receipts. restoration also included, brand new spotlights, rear lights, etc!!
The car needs very little TLC. I have been told by a BMW valeter and bodywork specialist that it will cost approx £400 to get the s1 back to mint condition.
The car has no little dinks or dents down the side from careless car parks, etc. All sides are absoloutely flush!
