I have an XR4i with 2.9 and 4x4. Also got another XR4i with 3.1 and Cosworth Sapphire front end/late spec back end, but it went off to be painted and never came back. Every now and then I go along and ask for a part and it turns up a couple of days later.

The day car is a company chariot, currently a Vectra 2.2 SRi. But don't shoot at me - GM pay me, so I have to drive their products, and at least I get a new one every 4 months or so. Had thought about a Saab for a wee while, but just not interested enough to pay the extra.

My wife has a 1998 Escort 1.8 115 - the only car I've ever bought new, and that was thanks to the employee discount when I worked for Ford. Still not done 41k so no point changing it and it does go well enough for her.

My 18 year old has to suffer in a Shitroen Saxo - it was cheap to insure and, as a student, he can't afford to buy his own.
