I find that you dont really need 4x4,and tbh its just more to go wrong.But on the upside....
The cornering is very good and the straight line stability is really something,mine is steady as a rock at 160,and its shown a few elises and caterhams the way home through the twisties,especially through sweeping corners its really quite suprising the speeds that can be acheived in a pretty old car.
Just make sure all the suspension and tyres are in good order and a front and rear strut brace really helps.
The only real down side is the gear box which isnt as nice as the 2wds.
