Yes, and good size calipers. Discs and calipers are from Xr4i which weighs 250kg more and have 15 more hp. Compared to many cars the standard brakes on a S2 are good.

Grooved discs will prevent fading, the grooves will shave the glazed layer off the discs. Performance pads and discs are a good upgrade for RST. I could brake very late compared to other cars like Cosworths at the track. Experienced at the track, were the brakes get really tested.

If you are looking for a brake upgrade, the combination of Black diamond combi discs, Black diamond Predator pads and Castrol Respons dot4 brake fluid is recomendable. You will have alot of fun with this combination on the track. Remember to empty all old brake fluid and air the brakes thuroughly.
