I'm very opinionated on this.
I don't mind it in places as I do it, HOWEVER, I have the common courtesy to make sure that there is no-one around, and I only really do it at Bedford where there is nothing to hit.
At the same time, I have seen people "attempt" to drift when there are cars both in front and behind them, and it's dangerous. The bottom line is, whilst spectacular, drifiting is the slowest way round the corner, and with people on slicks, approaching speeds can be huge mid corner.
It is only a matter of time before one party comes together with another where one is drifting, and one isn't.
