That's true of early plasmas, but it's not such a problem these days with the modern models - as long as you dont do anything daft like leave the same picture on the screen for ages..

Porkie and me both bought Pioneer PDP435XDE (pretty sure that's the number) 43in plasmas for just over £2k each.

Nothing short of awesome. HDMI ready, stunning picture (the pictures on discs played through my Denon HDMI DVD player are like nothing you have ever seen), stunning looks, and 2 flights to New York FOC. Money well spent. They were £3500 when they first came out about a year ago.

I also have a 23in LDC for the kitchen. That doesn't get used very often...
