Not really sure about Plasma but normal Tv is better than LCD so plasma would probaly would be a lot better.

LCD is digital not analog so they need to convert the image to work on LCD so the image you get is digitally converted with makes it more pixelated. it looks clearer but not as smooth and has rough egdes all around the images, its not like a PC witch has a really good image because a PC puts out a digital signal so its really good but with a analog signal it has to be converted to digital and looks not very good. i prefer normal tube tv's to LCD but. im not sure about plasma screens but i would think they would be better. we had a 52 inch projection telly witch was a pretty good picture even though it was a prejection TV these are pretty cheap, around £600 for a 52"
